What You Can Expect

Private Tour: Best of Bali

Batuan Temple

Meet your driver at your Bali hotel and begin your Best of Bali tour with a visit to Batuan Temple. Marvel at the beautiful Hindu temple as you learn its spiritual significance and points out the magnificent architecture and unique black palm roof.

Next, visit Tegenungan Waterfall, where you can cool off with a swim beneath the falls or even brave a jump from the top of the 49-foot (15-meter) high falls.

Continue north to Tegalalang to marvel at the UNESCO-listed rice terraces, one of Bali’s most photographed sights. Learn about the pioneering ‘subak’ system – the Balinese cooperative irrigation system – for which the terraces are known, as you admire the views over the rice paddies.

After lunch (own expense), discover Indonesia’s world famous Luwak coffee at a local coffee plantation. Learn about the unusual method of producing the coffee, which involves the coffee berries being eaten and defecated by Asian palm civets, then collecting the part-digested beans from the forest floor. After sampling the other coffees and teas made at the plantation, perhaps opt to taste a Luwak coffee too (extra cost).

In the afternoon, indulge your creative side with a visit to the Ubud Art Villages and discover the vibrant traditions of Balinese arts and handicrafts. Visit the woodcarving village of Mas, admire the fine Silver Filigree jewelry made in Celuk and watch a Batik painting demonstration in Tohpati Village.

Finally, after an action-packed full-day itinerary, finish your tour with drop-off at your hotel.

Had a lovely young man named Degos! He spoke good english, was so sweet to me and my mother, he waited for us at the rice terraces and made sure we saw as much as we can! Even though, he was just driving us around, he wasn't meant to be a guide but when I asked some stuff about HIndu he was so sweet to talk to me about Hindus! He was explaining some stuff to me in the Batuan Temple! Such a lovely man, very professional and nice! I hope I come back and see him again!

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide Ponk was amazing. His English was great, his personality was great and he was so knowledgeable that we learnt so much in one day. We were picked up from our Hotel in Kuta then taken to our first stop, the Luwak Coffee Plantation. We then visited the silver factory and an Art place then onto a Temple. We stopped at an amazing waterfall where we had lunch then finally we went to the Rice Terraces. We did so much but didnt feel rushed in anyway so we didnt get tired out. I would definately recommend this Tour to everyone.

Most impressive waterfall I’v to our driver (unfortunately cannot remember his name), he was very helpful and informative, when it started raining and we were far from agreed pick up place, he was very kind to come and find us with umbrellas dor us not to soak wet. Very good tour covering some of the best bits of Ubud and the surrounding areas. Private tour in comfortable air conditioned car and the driver was polite, courteous and very helpful filling in the gaps. His English was good and certainly better than my Balinese! Good value would recommend.

This tour was awesome and our driver Oka was awesome too. He took us to all the places we wanted to go and gave us lots of time to explore. He even spent extra time with us to take us to local spots to eat. We would highly recommend this tour and asking for Oka as your tour driver.

What a great day. Our Tour guide, Putra was so polite and helpful he even helped with our baby.
The waterfall was amazing but can be dangerous, we witnessed a near drowning by people who could not swim.
Wood carving and jewellery making really stood out and showcased their skill.
Worth doing and good value for money.

I loved this tour and our guide was very informative. It was pouring rain so we couldn and #39;t see Mt. Batur very well but the restaurant we ate at there had a nice view. We still had to pay for entrance into the monkey forrest, rice terrace and the road to Mt. Batur so make sure you bring enough cash with u.
