Carol our guide who is owner/operator was great and she made our day in Tauranga such a delight! The tour took us into the beautiful countryside of the area and offered us amazing views. We visited a Kiwi orchard where we were taken on a tour aboard their tram and then sampled various Kiwi varieties, jams and ice cream. We also visited a world famous Manuka honey store where we saw an active bee hive and enjoyed various Manuka honey samples and ice cream I would definitely recommend Wicked Wanders!

I went on this tour a couple of weeks ago - and was very happy with the tour / and presentation by the tour operator Carol from Wicked Wanderers. She showed us around Tauranga - which is a beautiful part of NZ. Carol had a real passion for the area she lived in - and this came through, strongly, in her presentation . All the time she was relating stories / information etc. of the area we were in. She went out of her way to ensure everyone enjoyed the tour. We went to a honey producing business - and I found the information she related whilst there interesting regarding bees and their structure within their communities. We also went to a Kiwi Fruit producing farm - and this was also interesting - relating information to me that I was not aware of. Thank You !

Really enjoyed our tour. We had ice cream made with Manuka honey, which was wonderful! The kiwi farm was interesting and fun. Didn't know that here were golden kiwis. Very enjoyable time.

A small group tour conducted in this instance by the owner. We saw some beautiful beaches, great views across Tauranga Harbour to the City. We visited Kiwifruit farm where our tour guide displayed exceptional knowledge of kiwifruit farming which was interesting.Visited shop where sampling of kiwifruit product and sale of kiwifruit ice cream were on offer. Also visited Manuka Honey at Comvita where we learned a lot about Manuka Honey and its medicinal uses. We saw the bees in action, and learnt a lot about how they operate. A friendly tour operator, very knowledgeable, and good value.

Carol was a wonderful tour guide. She gave us quite a bit of background information on the city and its history. She took is to a kiwi farm which was fun. Also went to a farm in high country so we could look down on the city. We also visited a manuka honey store. This was a store and not a bee farm visit which I found a bit disappointing. However, in the store they did have a bee honey comb with thousands of bees inside the glass casement. We also visited the park and saw some lovely carvings. Also stopped at a beach which is popular for surfers. If you want a short trip, take this one.
