What You Can Expect

Sydney Harbour Tour by Helicopter

Gorgeous Sydney Harbour

Starting with convenient pickup from your centrally located Sydney hotel, head to the helipad where you meet your pilot. Your helicopter flight experience begins with a greeting and check-in from the friendly operations staff, followed by a thorough safety briefing in the comfort of the modern and spacious guest lounge.

After the safety briefing, head out, with time to snap photos in front of your helicopter before boarding. Cameras and video recorders can be taken with you on the helicopter for more fantastic memories of your flight. After getting comfortable in your seats and putting on the provided headset, listen to your pilot’s commentary as your helicopter lifts up into the sky.

Upon take-off enjoy full panoramic views of the Sydney skyline, Pacific Ocean and the historic port of Botany Bay. Within minutes of departure your experienced and skilled pilot will have you above the glistening waters of Maroubra Beach and tracking north along the coast at 500-feet. You will contour fly the picturesque coastline of the eastern suburbs beaches including Coogee, Clovelly and also the world famous Bondi Beach with the aquamarine waters sparkling against the Sydney sun. Admire the spectacular houses of Dover Heights and Vaucluse perched on the chiselled sandstone cliffs as you continue northbound to Sydney Harbour heads and the world’s largest and most beautiful natural harbor.

Your experienced pilot will guide your aircraft through the magnificent Sydney Harbour giving you an unforgettable view of icons such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, Taronga Zoo, Watsons Bay, Rose Bay and Manly Cove. Looking towards the horizon you can see the rest of Sydney stretching out towards the Sydney Olympic site and further afield to the foothills of the world renowned heritage listed Blue Mountains.

As you start your return journey to the heliport you will fly past some of Sydney’s great sporting arenas including the Sydney Football Stadium, Sydney Cricket Ground, and Randwick Racecourse. Throughout the flight your pilot will provide you with informative commentary via Bose voice activated headsets allowing you to talk with the pilot and your other passengers whilst on the helicopter.

Really nice tour. Only complaint is it goes by too fast but that's not the company's fault : Our driver Lincoln was awesome.

Worth every single penny. Our trip was postponed to a different date since it was raining the day before. However please remember to book the timing and for the complimentary pick up time from the hotel.

Well looked after with good pick up. Very polite staff. Pilot was chatty and helpful. Views were amazing. We only had a short time in Sydney and so it was a great way to see the city and all it's little bays.

I love helicopter tours in most cities from high above and this tour of Sydney is no different. I was soooooo happy this tour wasn't canceled and enough folks were able to make it happen. Mitch the pilot was a awesome guy, very professional took us all around Sydney, along the coast and back down safely. They also offer a 21 minute video by USB which is a must to buy. The back camera on the helicopter is so cool and makes it look like a video game-lol. I love the experience and you should too if you decide to go for this tour!

Superb! First ever helicopter flight and could you choose a better place than Sydney? It happened to be a windy day in mid-August, and while it felt ok for most of the flight, I was feeling a bit sick towards the end in that sense, flight duration was more than perfect!. Nevertheless, the views are breathtaking and I took many photos. Definitely worth it!

Took a helicopter ride over Sydney. Well worth it. I would say way better value then the bridge climb. Very easy to do too as they pick you up from city centre hotels and drop you back so no hassle. Also very professional and ran smoothly. The sights from the air are just so different from being on the ground. Sydney in particular has such a beautiful setting with so much water. Highly recommend.
