We did the night climb, and the views were breathtaking! It was also great to learn a bit of Sydneys history along the climb. The tour includes one group composite photo, but individual group photos are available for purchase.
When first looking into the bridge climb, I was shocked by the price. But both my husband and I wanted to do it, so we chose to climb during the most economical time. I was glad we did as it was not overly crowded plus we had good weather for our climb. It really is an amazing experience. Having done it and stayed in Sydney for a few days, I might chose to spend a little more and do the climb a little later in the evening so you could see the area at dusk. They are a very organized operation. They have ways to deals with all kinds of weather. We were glad that it was suggested that we not wear our shorts under our jumpsuits - it was more comfortable since it was a little on the warm side. The climb was not overly difficult. We were on our feet the whole time, but you get to stop often to look around and listen to your guide tell you fun facts and point out landmarks. And yes you can hear them because you wear headphones! Much of the climb and descent is on the arch which has stepping planks, not stairs. The ladders and stairs are not bad and you are encouraged to take your time and be safe. It was a memory that was more than worth the price. Will be talking about it for a long time!
A must do - we went in December and our guide was so attentive and reassuring - it is not difficult and very safe!!!!!

Really enjoyed the climb. They did everything to make sure that Ann made the climb especially as she is petrified of heights. Well organised and a very friendly guide. I would recommend the experience to anyone visiting Sydney. Pot it on your must do list.
Interesting from the time they suit you up and give you the safety guidelines til the actual bridge climb. Our guide, Peter, was enthusiastic, energetic and very well versed in all things, Bridge. We had a perfect weather day which doesnt hurt but, the views...! Pictures were taken, by Peter, along the way and available for sale at the end of the trip. They werent all that costly and better than any pictures I could have taken. All in all, a great Sydney experience that I would highly recommend.
The guide Tom was funny, knew the history, and knew everyone's name quickly. The climb was fun and the views amazing! I would recommend this even tho a little expensive.
other than windy and cold loved the bridge climb and guide. Would definetly do again
This is definitely a dont miss if youre visiting Sydney. I was traveling with my husband, cousins and their wives, only my cousin Mike agreed to joining me. The others arent fond of heights. From start to finish it was a wonderful tour. Danny our guide was great, his love for his job and knowledge of the bridge is very evident. Hes also in tune with climbers that may be a bit hesitant. It does take a full 3-3 1/2 hrs. from start to finish. You cannot take anything with you either. Photos are taken of you and maybe purchased at for reasonable amount considering you will probably not do this again! You can get them on a flash drive or printed. I felt it was well worth the price! Something I will never forget!
Great experience, not as strangerous as we thought. enough time to look around and we get a lot of information.
A most excellent adventure! Olivia was a helpful, encouraging and funny guide. I was worried that it would be too difficult for me as a 68 year old but it was actually an easy climb.
Absolutely brilliant - worth every single penny it cost. Well organised, safe and views spectacular, once done never ever forgotten. Was grinning non-stop afterwards.
A must do experience. Wonderful views and great exercise. Our guide was superb and provide great descriptions of what we were seeing. Unfortunately, one cannot take personal camera or phone.
Very well organised and carried out in a professional manner. Nowhere near as scary as we thought that it might be, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. It was a lot of money but worth the cost. If you buy the ticket for the full climb then you can also go up the bridge tower to take your own photos.
I was always worried about climbing the Bridge, but it was the best thing we ever did.We had a GREAT guide that put us at ease she was very knowledgeable and good fun too. The whole climb is carried out in a very professional manner from beginning to end.So take my word for it and if you are lucky enough to visit Sydney climb the Bridge. We have used this web site before very good with competitive prices
Perfect climbing experiences... a MUST for Sydney. It was an amazing day.
Expertly managed from start to finish. If you get the chance, do it
THis was my second time climbing the bridge. This is A MUST when you are in Sydney. The view is just amazing and the guide very knowledgible which made the climb interesting. Even if you have a fear of heights you will be fine. The entire claim is safe and not scary at all. It is a bit physically challenging but the guide is understanding and stops if needed. Love it!
Prompt start....extensive set up and easy climb even though it seems tough. Loved the view! Great buy at Viator instead of the actual place or at the Bridgeclimb website.
Wanted to do this Bridge climb since we seen it on The Amazing Race. It was awesome. Loved every minute of it. JC was our guide and she rocked it. The views were spectacular. The climb was very easy. If you are in Sydney this is a must do. Shane. Salt Lake City, Utah

Fantastic! I don't like heights but this is a must do. The staff are all very helpful and go through all stages of the process very thoroughly from the health and safety stuff to issuing all the equipment you need. Wear your own shoes, preferably trainers,as they have some but probably won't be as comfortable as your own. We went on a hot day so had to strip to our underwear before putting on the suit provided so doesn't matter what clothes you wear they also have fleeces and raincoats for cold or wet days. The climb itself involves 4 steepish sets of steps at the start and finish but apart from that it's an easy gradual walk. The guide was very informative and kept stopping to give us information about the bridge and its history. The walkway is quite wide and the handrails are a good distance from the edge of the bridge making you feel very safe. Unfortunately you can't take your own cameras, go pros etc but the guide takes numerous photos of you on the way up and at the top of the bridge. You can also record a brief 8 second video at the top which is emailed to you within half an hour. I was nervous about doing the climb but once I saw what it was like I would have been gutted if I hadn't done it.
Don't forget you will only be able to take up your glasses but it was as least as good as I hoped and you get to keep the hat.
Excellent experience. Security and safety taken very seriously.
Fabulous views across the Harbour from the very top
Long session at around 3 hours but well worth it. Lots of Health and Safety so no need to worry about heights and the views and experience are amazing
