While your cruise ship is in port, sail along the west coast of St Lucia aboard a catamaran on this full-day excursion. Visit some of the island's highlights, like Sulphur Springs, the region's only drive-in volcano. See the marvelous Pitons, looming 2,000 feet (700 meters) over the coast and stop at a coconut plantation. After an included buffet lunch, return to the boat for a relaxing swim in the Caribbean's tropical waters.
Following pickup from St Lucia's cruise port, transfer to the harbor to board the comfortable catamaran. Find a spot on deck in the sun or shade and watch the scenery of the St Lucia's west coast pass by.
At Soufriere, disembark to explore some of the island's top attractions. Pause for photos of the Pitons, the St Lucia's iconic mountains that tower 2,000 feet (600 meters) over this part of the island.
With your guide, make your way to Sulphur Springs, the world's only drive-in volcano. The sulphuric thermal pools here were created thousands of years ago by a collapsed volcanic crater.
Continue to a plantation estate to stroll among the native plants and flowers. Visit a copra house to learn about the process of drying coconut and turning it into products like oil and soap. Sample locally grown cocoa pods, the raw material later turned in to chocolate bars. At a local restaurant, sit down for a Creole-style buffet lunch.
Return to the boat for a sail up the coast and into Marigot Bay. Make a stop for swimming, snorkeling and relaxing before returning to shore for the ride back to your North Island hotel.
