This day trip starts with a ferry ride from Pier 69 at Seattle’s Central Waterfront. Enjoy of the beautiful views of the Olympic Mountain Range on the journey across Puget Sound. Be on the lookout for whales in the water on the way to Victoria.
Upon arrival at Victoria’s Inner Harbour, take a motor coach to the famous Butchart Gardens, one of the top tourist attractions in British Columbia and ranked by USA Today, CNN and National Geographic as one of the top display gardens in the world. Butchart Gardens has been designated a National Historic Site of Canada because of their international renown.
Take approximately two hours to explore the beautiful grounds.
The unforgettable Sunken Garden is a must-see, featuring cradle beds of annuals, flowering trees, and unique shrubs. Concert Lawn Walk displays a domed Children’s Pavilion and Rose Carousel with 30 hand-carved wooden animals and chariots. The Rose Garden showcases roses of every kind — marked by name, origin and year — plus a frog fountain and wishing well. There are also Japanese, Italian and Mediterranean Gardens to enjoy.

We left the terminal at 1130 am. Plan for pick up at Butchart Garden at 3pm, we were there at 305pm and the bus just left. We ended up taking a cab back to downtown to see the Empress Hotel and the Parliament bldg.It was a fun day otherwise despite the rain and the problem with transportation. The staff are all friendly and helpful esp when we almost miss the ferry to Victoria because of the problem with Lyft, ended up in a different location and we tried to call Clipper to let them know but to no avail, unable to get customer service.Got there in time and the staff helped us and expedite the process of boarding. Thank you

Our day trip to Butchart Gardens and Victoria Canada was great. The rain held off just long enough for us to have two good hours in the gardens (one could spend much longer but 2 hours is a good amount of time to see it all) - the Sunken Garden was our favorite. The only drawback to the day was standing in long lines to board the ferry and to go through customs. A TIP - You should be in line to board the ferry at least one hour before departure, not the half-hour some info suggests.

The tour of the Butchart Gardens was awesome! I've never seen any garden that matches its beauty. The ferry ride was a bit longer both ways than stated, as it took well over three hours each way. Also, I was unhappy to find that our return ferry actually leaves at 5:00 pm, not 7:00 pm as stated on our receipt. Apparently, on Tuesdays and Thursday they don't run a 7:00 pm schedule. It would have been nice to know that in advance, as it really reduced out time to tour Victoria.

Was very impressed with the story of how the Gardens originated as well as the spectacular array
The boat tour was the highlight of my day probably because it was unexpected and differed from the Gardens

The Victoria Clipper serves snacks and drinks but if you want a full breakfast I would make sure to eat before you board. If your hotel offers food I would get that before you leave and eat it on the way. You could even eat it on the ship. The
