Great tour, but the food was AWESOME!

This was a great experience. We had 3 elementary age kids and one senior adult in our group and everyone enjoyed the trip. Our driver Jon was very knowledgeable and made the entire process easy. Most of the trip is riding the trolley with a couple times you could get out or take a picture and a short walk across two streets to dinner. Dinner at lady and sons was delicious. We were taken in by groups and seated. I would do this again and would recommend this trip to anyone interested in Paula Deen, Savannah, or Lady and Sons.

The food was very good. The tour was interesting and informative. We learned many new and interesting facts about Paula and her life. It would have been nicer if we had more time at the restaurant. We were the last to get our dinner, so dessert was served when it was time to leave for the trolley. We didn't get to visit the store.

Great tour. Our guide was a young girl, but very up on Paula Deen's history as well as Savannah's history. Ended with a great southern meal at Lady and Sons. Highly recommend!

Joycee sure knows her stuff!!! She was a great host on our trolley tour and the dinner at Lady and Sons was wonderful. We were not rushed in any way at dinner, but really couldn't eat another mouth full! Of course there was time for shopping in the restaurant gift shop and then we were brought back to our hotel. Doesn't get any better than that. I would highly recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful time on our trolley tour. Our driver Joycee was so amazing with her presentation. She did fantastic job telling Paula's like story and also showing the beautiful historic homes in Savanah and their history. I would recommend this tour to everyone. Hopefully you will be as lucky as we were and get Joycee as your driver/ guide .

There's really nothing the trolley people could do to fix the problems with this tour other than discontinue it. The only thing Paula Deen about this tour is seeing a house she used to live in and the restaurant. The tour driver tells her life story as he drives around Savannah, much of which I really didn't want to know she smokes and had a 10 year affair with a married man This is really just a shortened version of the hop on/hop off tour. The restaurant is awful. A small buffet line I really expected many more choices that ran out of food as we got there just before 5:00. My husband chose the very dry fried chicken while I waited for the pork chops to be replenished. By the time I got one, he and the other people at our table had all but finished eating. The food: the macaroni and Cheese were clearly left over from lunch or the day before. It was very dry. The mashed potatoes were over done and swimming in butter. The mashed sweet potatoes looked ok, I did not try them. The other choices were lima beans, black-eyed peas and undercooked greens. There was some meat that looked like bbq short ribs. Dessert choices were a dry peach cobbler and a butter cake that was really bad. This tour is very expensive for what you get and I would not recommend it to anyone.
