Best excursion of our trip to the DR. Terrific, friendly staff - Jose, Jason, Benjamin plus all at the ranch and those who provided additional zip-line safety - wish I had all of their names. They were great! This was not your usual boring trail ride. The horse I had was energetic and we were allowed to go at a nice trot as long as rider was comfortable. When we got to the ranch more like a big pavilion, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch and then we were on our way to the zip-lines, the first of which was walking distance away. Lots of help getting us on and off. No braking necessary, so no stress - just fun. Oh and we stopped to see how cigars were made - thank you Nancy and team! No pressure to buy there, and the hospitality was warm and gracious. Five or six zip-lines later, we were back where we started and got to see how coffee, cocoa and some of the native fruits were grown, and sampled some delicious hot cocoa. A mamajuana shot, some lively music, and we got on the horses for the shorter trip back. That was a nice surprise. Our resort Iberostar Punta Cana did not have this tour with their contracted tour operators, but confirmed our reservation. We were safe the entire time. Highly recommend and will go back.
