Horseback Riding Adventure Punta Cana

Great experience with awesome guides.

For the most part, it was a good excursion. They arrived on time to pick us up from the hotel. The 1-hour excursion we paid for ended up being 2-hours long. Thankfully, we had nowhere to be afterwards. But it was great that they did not rush you and gave everyone more time to enjoy. Beautiful scenic route. The guides were great and handled the horses pretty well to keep them in line. They were on horses as well to keep them in line. They took pictures for you once we stopped. I gave this 4-stars because upon arrival, I was freaked out at how many horses were cooped up in a stable and pigeons were engulfing the place so I did not know what we had gotten ourselves into. The horses are trained for first-time riders like myself. They knew the route but they could get a little agitated. My spouse had the most unruly horse of them all. Thankfully, it was not his first time on the horse. One of the guides switched out his horse once we got to the half-way point which was very good of them to do. I figure they were a little agitated because of how cooped up they are in the stable that's just my opinion. Heads up: you can get a picture package that includes a CD of pictures and video clips of the adventure, a framed picture, and a drink with your picture on it, all for 65. The CD of pictures by itself is 50.

We booked this excursion for a 1 Hour horseback riding on the beach, not knowing there was an option to make it 2 hours. Among our group we my husband and I and one other couple were the only ones that booked for the 1 hour option among a big group of 15-20. Our tour guide was kind enough to bump us up to the 2 hour tour option free of charge, which we thought was very generous!!

Now this was my first time horseback riding, so I was a bit anxious.. not sure how it was going to go, but I was nervous for nothing! The horseback riding itself was bumpy but safe and was very relaxing. The guides were there to help and made sure no one was left behind. The horses themselves looked very well cared for and well-built no ribs showing!. I actually enjoyed it so much, and I only wish I had more experience with horseback riding so I could've gone at a faster pace. The beach was beautiful and our photographer made sure to capture every moment!! The picture package were 50 so there's that, but we think of it as giving back to the community and giving back to the beautiful horses. Overall we highly recommend this excursion!!

This tour exceeded my family’s expectations! The guides were very funny but also very safe. Helmets for everyone and there were 2 guides that held onto my kids’ horses the whole time. It was a beautiful location on the beach and they had a photographer that took pics of us the whole ride.

Amazing tour. You get to ride the horse at different speeds and it requires no previous experience with horse riding. Enjoyed it very much !

Awesome! Was part of a small group of only 4 including myself. Guide really payed attention to us and allowed to devote all his time to make the experience perfect. A lot longer excursion time than expected with breathtaking views of the beach. A lot of fun, highly recommend. Thank you!

Horseback riding experience was fun. Guides took pictures at beginning of ride and during so I did expect some sort of photo package to be offered after ride but the price was very high for a burned CD containing a few pictures it so I did not purchase. If price was more reasonable I probably would of bought CD. Also would of felt more comfortable if there was some communication during pick-up from hotel and ride to excursion. Ride was long.

Great tour but would remove the highlight that indicated Ride to a private beach to go swimming with your horse. I had wore swim suit and brought towels anticipated going swimming.

One of the Top 3 horseback riding experiences I've had in my life and I've taken a lot, especially if you enjoy the freedom to ride the horses in varying styles. You can let them know your riding style/preference, and while most people are walkers with the horses, if you like to ride a bit faster yes, including gallop, they'll hold you back at certain safe sections and allow you to open the horses up. It's rare to find a ranch that will let you ride their horses in anything more than a walk/trot. Just be upfront and honest about your experience, so you don't put the horses at risk. The guides are awesome, the coconut man towards the end was needed it was hot, sweaty, and I needed that coconut!, and the horses did not seem neglected at all. The tour says an hour, but truth is it was about 90-minutes. We were part of a smaller group only 4 of us that went out after the main group about 18-20 people, which is likely why they allowed us to ride on our own style. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Punta Cana!

This tour is amazing! Such a fun experience. The tour guides were very nice and helpful. They helped you feel comfortable on the horses! Rum was supposed to be included so they dropped the picture package price so we got free rum. Experience: 10/10
