Flintstones Buggy Adventure from Punta Cana

The excursion was a lot of fun and the guides were very friendly and funny! Picked up and dropped off on time.

I highly recommend this excursion. My family stayed in Punta Cana for a week and took two excursions. We took this Buggy adventure excursion and the Four Adventures excursion. In my opinion, going on one excursion on the water and one excursion on the land was a great decision. We have teenage sons and they thoroughly enjoyed both excursions. - On the Buggy excursion you drive a two man dune buggy or a four man family buggy through the Dominican country side. While the group does stay together and you are not allowed to pass each other, you get to drive surprisingly fast on the straighter roads. Some of the roads are quite bumpy. But it is enjoyable navigating them. You do make several rest stops along the way so you can change drivers if you want to make sure everybody in your family gets a turn driving. But, frankly, being a passenger is also very enjoyable as you get to look around more. The stop at a local residence was very enjoyable with a nice tour of the residence and a cup of coffee. You can sample some the foods like bananas and plantains and coffee. Be careful if they ask if you want to taste one of the chile peppers. They are tiny but crazy hot. In the middle of the drive you get to stop at a cave and walk through it. The cave is awesome and surprisingly deep. No need to worry about small spaces. The cave is huge and you will not get claustrophobic. -- When you return to the buggy ranch there is a nice little shop where you can purchase some of the usual trinkets. But you can also sit down and drink a bottle of water while watching the pictures and videos the guides took while you were driving. The picture are great and you will definitely want to purchase them. In the end, I think pairing this excursion with the Four Adventures excursion was a great combination. Definitely 5 stars for both excursions.

So fun! Bring your glasses and bandanas because it gets dusty but so worth it. We were able to visit a small town in the country and see how locals live. Delicious coffee from Francine! You drive the buggy about 6 miles to the cave which is even more incredible. You also get to go fast for my adrenaline lovers!

A lot of fun! The buggies are safely put together and do pack a bit of a punch. The trail is mostly gravel and mud you will get splashed but this is part of the enjoyment make sure you wear clothes that you don't care much about. The cave at the end is very beautiful with some truly disturbing Flintstones characters. Overall very good.

Great time!

This was a lot of fun. The guide is from Cuba and he was the best!!! Very welcoming. My husband especially liked this one. He got to really rip through the country side and splash through the puddles!!!

Our guide Ivan Rosales and his assistant were extremely pleasant and quite knowledgible about anything we had a question about, whether it pertained to the terrain, plants, cave dwellings, etc., etc. Great sense of humor also. The dune buggies supplied are primarily open with a roll cage and were quite capable with regard to acceleration and handling the rough terrain. Just in case of a mechanical problem which we did not have, a mechanic follows in another buggy. I would certainly recommend this excursion over others that claim to be similar. We spoke to some folks at our resort with regard to their experiences with other tours...and they all seemed dissappointed that they did not join us instead. Make sure you bring goggles and a scarf to cover your face from the dust. Also consider bringing a couple of shower caps from your resort to put on your head under the helmets supplied. Just a precaution as my wife is paranoid about getting cooties from someone else's head This is a total thumbs up tour!!!

This was fun but very very bumpy. The tires don't absorb any of the bad road conditions. The tour guides were fun and courteous through the whole trip. They did take us to a very large cave. The best I've seen in quite some time.

This was a great ride it had rained al morning so good and sloppy ride on the back trails .....Seen how local folks live and survive in this country .......

I liked this tour ALOT! The guide was awesome, he referred to me as Booker T from WWE because of my hair. We did the mudding with the dune buggy and also drove by the country side and got to see the locals who were waving to us as we drove by. We also walked through the cave and swung from a vine which was awesome!
