Meet your guide at a central location and discover the luminous charm of Puerto Vallarta after dark. Start your 3.5-hour evening food tour with an authentic taste of tacos de cabeza, a sumptuous dish made from an assortment of beef cuts simmered in a spicy chile-infused broth.
Sample a seafood chile relleno taco and a shrimp brochette before biting into tacos al pastor, featuring thin shavings of spit-roasted pork, marinated with chiles and served on fresh tortillas. Sink your teeth into the best churros in Puerto Vallarta; these crispy fritters are served hot and dusted with cinnamon and sugar.
Finish with a quesadilla prepared with local fresh cheese and sautéed mushrooms. Just be sure to save room for dessert — a Michoacán-style fruit paleta (popsicle).
This was fun, we met in the old town of PV and walked around to different taco stands or taco restaurants - each location had a different type of taco. The tour guide Daniela was fantastic. She has a passion for food and it very knowledgeable. I would definitely take another tour with this company.
Amazing...from the fantastic tour guides to the delicious tacos...we learned so much and had so much fun! We will recommend this to everyone...thank you!!

Star was an amazing, knowledgeable and very accomodating tour guide. We tasted 14 different food and beverages during the tour and she was constantly asking us if we wanted more to eat. The stops we made had all been in business for 20-40 years. Really enjoyed the food and the sanitation was good. I would take any tour offered through Vallarta Eats. We received photos and a list of stops so we could return on other days. Very thorough. Easy location to meet and start the tour. Loved hearing the history of the area.

Our tour guide was Star. She was great. Friendly, personable and full of foodie knowledge. This is a fun and filling tour. They keep the groups small... tonight it turned out to be just my wife and I. My wife loves authentic tacos and salsas. This tour was PERFECT for her. We visited 8 places on this tour. 4 for Tacos/Quesadillas and 2 for desert type things. 1 quick stop for a special chocolatey drink and 1 stop at a small store for information about spices. We took our time and Star answered all of our questions. We had more than our fill of great food and got to try 3 different drinks as well. As mentioned in another review, take this tour early in your visit to Puerto Vallarta. You will want to re-visit some of these places on your own. While on our tour, we bumped into previous tour guests on return trips to the food locations. They greeted Star with hugs and smiles as if they were old friends. It really was a great.
So happy we took this tour. The guide was amazing and had all the answers. She took us to the best places. We had an amazing time eating some amazing tacos. I will do this tour over and over and over again.
Excellent tour. Would recommend you take the tour early in your stay so you can return to your favorite spots again later. Learned much about spotting different types of taco stands and how to recognize the good ones that are clean. Taco stands are such a prominent part of Puerto Vallarta that it is a must tour!
My friend and I ended up on a personal tour with Memo as the other couple cancelled to watch the Presidential debate! Memo was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. The food was amazing and we went back several times during our stay for churros from the Churro Man's stand.
