Why Travellers Choose This Tour

If you want a tour that has it all, this trip is for you -- round-trip transport, in-depth exhibits, an IMAX movie and a guided tour of where NASA builds spacecrafts. To top it off, ask a real astronaut questions over lunch and get his or her autograph. Families love this one!
Discover the science of space travel with an exciting visit to Kennedy Space Center. Your full‐day excursion begins with early morning pickup from designated Orlando locations.

Upon arrival at the KSC Visitor Complex, explore the Early Space Exploration exhibit featuring stories and artifacts from the first manned US space flights, or hop on the NASA bus for a quick trip to one of the other mind‐blowing exhibits. Disembark at the Rocket Garden to view the first NASA rockets or crawl into an original space capsule for the ultimate (cramped) astronaut experience. Continue to the Apollo/Saturn V Center, where you’ll relive Neil Armstrong’s walk on the moon, touch a moon rock and get a close‐up view of the giant Saturn V rocket – the largest rocket ever made at 363 feet (110 meters) tall!

Next head to the IMAX Theater for a complimentary viewing of IMAX® A Beautiful Planet or Journey To Space 3D. Relax and enjoy first‐hand accounts of space travel before heading on to your next stop.

Your space adventure includes two phenomenal bonus features! With your ticket, you’ll enjoy an unforgettable lunch with a veteran NASA astronaut, where you can get an autograph and ask your burning space questions. Then take an expert guided tour of the Vehicle Assembly Building to view where shuttles are built.

Between stops, pass by the space shuttle launch pad, the countdown clock at Press Site and the NASA Causeway. Explore the center at your own pace, engage in savvy interactive displays, remember fallen astronauts at the Astronaut Memorial and take needed snack breaks (own expense) in the Rocket Garden or Orbit Cafe.

At the end of your tour, a coach will return you to the departure point in Orlando.

The tour was great. We had an amazing day with very well informed guides. There is so much to see and do we could have spent another day. The lunch with the astronaut was very cool. Mark Lee was very gracious about answering questions and and his presentation about this experiences as an astronaut on the Space Shuttle was very informative.
I would recommend this tour especially for those travelers with kids who might want to become involved in space exploration.
2 small negatives.....the pick-up times from Orlando are not especially accurate and the movie shown on the bus trip back was horrible!..better to sleep if you can.

Thought this was going to be cheesy forgive me but my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed it and felt it was worth the time and money. The astronaut we met was very well spoken and exciting to hear his stories. The food itself was pretty standard for a buffet but my daughter, who is a picky an eater as they come, still went back for seconds so it wasn't bad at all.

This was an amazing day, seeing so much and the lunch with the astronaut was truly out of this world. Fred Gregory had some wonderful stories to tell about his time with NASA and the people he met. It was a fantastic day and I learnt so much about the space program.
