Hamilton's Grave

Meet your guide at the Alexander Hamilton Custom House prior to your tour's 9am start time. Get started on your 5-hour walking tour with an explanation of how New Amsterdam became New York during visits to the Charging Bull of Wall Street and Bowling Green Park.

Depart for Battery Park, where you'll skip the lines for direct boarding access to the Liberty Island Ferry. Take a guided tour of the Statue of Liberty Museum, which includes rare memorabilia, and get views of the Manhattan skyline from the observation deck.

Back on the ferry, head over to Ellis Island to steep yourself in America's immigrant history. Learn what most of our ancestors went through when arriving in America through a tour of the Great Hall and get a chance to trace your family's history.

Return to Manhattan, and visit the New York Stock Exchange, Wall Street, and the first capitol building in the United States, Federal Hall. Continue to Trinity Church, one of Manhattan's Gothic Revival architectural gems, then continue to see Alexander Hamilton's grave.

See the reflecting pools at the 9/11 Memorial while your guide talks about the new buildings in the World Trade Center Complex. Pay your respects to those who lost their lives and see the Survivor Tree. Board the elevator to the One World Observatory, located on the 102nd floor of One World Trade Center, the Western Hemisphere's tallest building.

End your 5-hour private walking tour in Battery Park. This private tour ensures personalized attention from your tour guide and the chance to ask plenty of questions.

Well, what can I say.. I have lived in New York for 10 years and finally did the tour with my family... what an amazing experience! Patrick, our guide, was outstanding and full of energy, a true story teller he is an actor after all:. Its not easy to keep grown up teenagers engaged, but he did it a marvelous job... and no better way to experience New York history in a day than this. Many highlights.. from the making of the Statue of Liberty to the 9/11 Memorial and One World Observatory.. Thanks so much for a wonderful day!

Fantastic tour, met Sean at the agreed location and on time, after the introductions we were straight in the tour. Sean was very knowledgeable with regards Lower Manhattan, Liberty and Ellis Islands, both me and my wife loved the presentation of the tour that Sean had put together, very informative. Visited a number of buildings we didn't expect see, including St Paul's Church and the Holy Trinity Church. Sean made sure we had good access to Ellis and Liberty Islands, avoiding most of the main queue's, same with boarding and getting off the ferries to and from the Islands. Not going to go into details about the 911 memorial, just an amazing place and difficult to comment on, but the new One World World Trade Centre was literilly out of this world, even though it was a bit cloudy on the 102nd floor during our visit, but still loads to see. Loved the tour, big thank you to Viator and Sean from Top Dog for a fantastic day.

This was a wonderful tour. Patrick was an exceptional guide. We had seen all the places before but not taken a tour and had the background information. It was pretty long and active. Being 60 years , we were tired out--but it was a good tired!
