I had a fabulous time on the Old Delhi tour with Abhi. We started at the Chandni Chowk for a tea and some history of the area. We stopped in at Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib, a Sikh temple right across the street, and Abhi and I sat down and observed for a bit. We stopped for samosas at Old Famous Jalebi Wala before walking into the streets of the Chandni Chowk market area, and we walked around for a bit, which was so interesting. We went to a Jain temple, and a member of the temple showed me around this GORGEOUS space. We got a fried bread and some chutneys at a busy food place I can't recall the name, but it was clearly extremely popular, and then we took a tuk tuk to the spice market area and checked out one of the vendors nearby. Although it wasn't part of the tour, Abhi very generously got us another autorickshaw, and we went back through the market streets to go to Jama Masjid because I hadn't gotten a chance to visit yet. He showed me around and shared some of the history of the mosque, and it was awesome. Abhi was very patient and knowledgeable, and since I went in the slower season, it was just the two of us. He answered my questions thoughtfully, and it was more like hanging out with a cool friend than anything else. One of the highlights of my trip was sitting and talking with him in Jama Masjid. Abhi is a superb guide, and I loved being able to explore Old Delhi for a great morning.

We had been in Delhi for several days but did not feel like we had experienced the “real” Delhi...until this tour! Shrishti was a wonderful guide and took us to places we never would have experienced on our own. We started on the subway, toured a Sikh gurudwara, helped make chapatis at their community kitchen, strolled little alleys and enjoyed the most delicious chai, delectable samosas, and stopped at a sixth generation lunch spot for paratha. We thoroughly enjoyed our half-day with Shrishti and wish it could have been longer.

I enjoyed my morning but it was not what I signed up for at all! There was no small group, just me the Red Fort was closed so saw a variety of other sights and markets no chai or lunch provided transport was Delhi's metro at rush hour.

The tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. He taught me a lot about the sights I was seeing and organised the morning for me to see the most possible.

I was disappointed that the tour did not match anything I had booked but still had an opportunity to see a side of Delhi I hadn't seen previously. In the future I would not book another tour in this way.

Yajnabalkya Chatterjee was absolutely amazing! We had a wonderful morning with him walking around Old Delhi. He was incredibly knowledgable, not only about sites on the tour but Indian culture, food, government, music and everything in between. We wish we could have had him for a longer tour or hung out with him again.

I took this tour at a recommendation of a local friend. Turn out to be one of the best tours I have ever done.

My guide, Sabyasachi picked me up at my hotel which happens to be near where he stays. Our tour starts with the subway. I had a great time discussing political and cultural issues in Delhi in the train with him. Sabya is smart, fluent in English and aware of current issues.

In Chandni Chowk we visited a Hindu temple where he explained the various different deities, festivals and practices. We went on to a Gurudwara next, again Sabya was well aware of the practices explaining the customs as we went along. We also managed to see the huge soup kitchen run the Gurudwara and I even tried my hand in making roti! We visited Jama Mosque which was awe inspiring. Being a Muslim, I was not aware that such a magnificent mosque exist in Delhi and is one of the world's biggest! It even housed some of the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) artifacts. Sabya was able to point out to me the architectural significance of the mosque and its history.

I think one of the best parts of the tour was being able to sample the street food, samosas, rotis and marsala chai. We also have many interactions with the local vendors. I loved going through the narrow streets looking at fabrics, meeting locals, learn about spices and tea. The rickshaw ride through the area was quite the highlight for me. One of the best experiences of my travels.

I wanted to say thanks to Sabya and Tushar who made my India trip so wonderful. Sabya was commendable as a guide, personable, insightful and very respectful to everyone we met. I really value this experience as I know I would not be able to do it on my own. I felt that I learnt so much so thank you for a wonderful time and for sharing your beautiful India with me.

this was probably the best money I spent in India! Our tour guide Sabyasaghi (Sab) was unbelievable! he was so well respected with everyone that we met. He took us everywhere. he introduced us to the Metro and what to look out for and where to eat. He let us know about the different histories and rituals of India. Take this tour as your first introduction to India. Fingers crossed you get Sab as he is one of a kind!
