My wife and I were suffering severe jet lag problems. So the tour guide modified things and she showed us what was popular. We had several food items. The place had no English on the menu and no one spoke English. I would recommend this tour because they were willing to modify the tour to help us out. She also took us on a subway ride to the destination and that was very interesting.

We would highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Anya, was very well informed about the places she took us to visit. Anya's English was excellent, as was the pace at which she set the tour, her knowledge of the spots we visited, and the foodstuffs we ate whilst on the tour. Moscow, at this time, was crisp and cold and Anya struck a fine balance between leading us through the streets of Moscow, and into the cafes at which we ate. Our favourite eatery was the Ukrainian restaurant with its wonderful sweet and savoury dumplings, and very good coffee. If you get the chance to do this tour, and have Anya as a guide, you will have made a great decision! Wonderful!

My husband and I also loved our food and walking tour with Luda. Another lovely Russian lady who with any question had a ready answer on anything from the specialty grocery in Arbat to the Golden Autumn being celebrated at the time we arrived and enjoyed our stay as we toured with Luda. Highly interesting to see merchandise displayed from horse to deer meat to various caviars and on and on... We love the unusual in foods so our interest was incredibly piqued. While we ended our food tour at the Red Square and where Lenin lay his head. Quite perfect as that allowed that we see families and visitors enjoying their time out on the weekend we were there as well. Again thank you Luda and Viator!
