Its a pretty standard hop-on hop-off bus service. There were 2 routes. We only did one - to Miami Beach. There were plenty of stops, the service was regular and there were always seats for us. The traffic in Miami did mean that buses were often late, but thats life in any big city these days. We didnt get to do the main city loop - the Miami Beach route was in a blue bus and we made the incorrect assumption that the red buses did the city line. So, we hopped on a red bus only to find ourselves going to Miami Beach again. By the time we got back, the last City route bus had already left. Learn from our mistake and ask which bus it is before you hop on - they are not colour coded !
My 83 old mother in lawwith knee problems and her 3 cousins had to wait 75 minutes on the street for pickup. They were told bus would be arriving in 5 Minutes and after it finally showed up the driver had no ear buds for tour , bus was jammed packed , basically they were miserable. They got off at one stop and caught next bus which she said was fine.
We purchased tickets online. However, it took about 35 minutes for the office at the big bus stop to print them as they did not understand how the vouchers for the online tickets could be printed. Compounded with the language barrier there, it was really frustrating to try to explain how we had purchased the tickets and get our tickets out.
Moreover, the company runs at a frequency of 30 minutes per stop which is really low for a hop on hop off. But that is something that can be planned for. It just pushes the added pressure on you that if you don't make it to a bus, you are stuck at a stop for 30 minutes.
