Windsor Castle Admission with Transport from London

Bus driver did a great job helped with my husband who has disabilities very friendly and professtional

no complaints! Easy to find the pick up location and the driver was very helpful and friendly. 2 hrs at the castle was just about right

All went well and had a great time at Windsor. The only thing I would like to see changed is the time of departure. We felt rushed as some buildings closed at earlier times so instead of a 12:30 departure from London an 11:30 or so would have made things a lot better. But very glad we made this trip with Golden Tours via Viator

Windsor Castle itself is well worth the effort and a must do if you have never been. However, the Golden Tours trip we booked through Viator left a lot to be desired. First, the departure point is hard to find as opposed to other tours we have taken that left from Victoria Coach Station. More importantly the tour left 20 minutes late which cut into our time at the Castle. There was no explanation from Golden. There was no communication from our driver, and no guide so it is just a bus ride out to the Castle.

This tour was great, we really enjoyed the tour, we did have 1 hiccup with getting into Windsor Castle, but i didn't think it was the driver/guild faulty i think it was the staff at the castle. This tour is well worth doing.

It was a good trip and the local tour company (Golden Tours) provided reliable instructions on how and where to meet for the tour. The driver was helpful and guided the group up to the entry point. Saved waiting in a long line.

We were a little disappointed. This tour arrives at Windsor Castle too late in the afternoon. Even though the tour guide/bus driver lets you know some parts of the castle close early, and promises you a map with details and closing time, NO MAP was ever given to us, and there is simply not enough time to get to see the early closing parts based on the arrival time. All this tour needs to do to be a great tour, is arrive one hour earlier in the afternoon, and give you more time to enjoy the castle. Its current timing is slightly foolish, and this pretty much ruined the entire idea of going there.

Great trip, but be prepared to walk a bit before you get to the castle. We were able to view almost all of the castle as well as have a pint at a local pub before making our way back to the bus. Definitely felt it was worth the price.

Windsor Castle is beautiful and full of history. I have been to other palaces in the UK, including Buckingham Palace, but Windsor has the character expected of a royal estate. Absolutely a must see! And, the town around it is so enchanting.
