I could have spent a little more time in Bath- but it was a long day. Julie did a awesome job explaining every thing- she was very helpful! Paul was a great driver. I only suggest you give yourself plenty of time to find the bus in the morning and don’t bring hot food on board. (The smell gets into the air system)
It's an excellent arrangement for tourists! Highly recommend for people who could only have short visit in London. [1] very clear and easy user interface on-line, and free refund 24 hours in advance (for short notice plan change) [2] Easy pick up point, very good condition coach and driver (Carlo) [3] very entertaining, informative and passionate guide (Dominic). Dominic proactively offered more advice for tourists for getting around. Time arrangement was excellent. The one-day trip to 2 places are perfect. I'm glad I changed my mind from joining a day tour covering 3 locations (Windsor Castle/Stonehenge/Bath) to this one covering only 2 spots (Stonehenge + Bath) as I could have more time to enjoy the beautiful places in Bath. Roman Bath is very worthwhile to visit, make sure you also pick that option; it has many very interesting videos (human acting with costumes) projecting in different corners in different corners underground, to visualise the activities in the Roman (old) days, for which not much people mentioned when I did the google search. Appreciate the entire program!
First off Tour Guide was great, no problems there. However when we got to Stonehenge there was a lack of shuttle buses to take us from parking lot to Stonehenge,waited in line 45 minutes for a shuttle and by the time we got there we only had twenty minutes to see the site. Would have loved to go to the Visitor Center but because we had to stand in line for the shuttle we never got to see it! Very rushed visit!! Bath was very nice and we did have more time there. This tour might be best not done in Summer when crowds are heavier.
Started off at Victoria Coach Station. Very crowded in the waiting area as several tours are leaving at the same time. The driver, Abdul and our tour guide James were both excellent. We had enough time to get to Stonehenge and take all the pictures we wanted and return to our tour bus to leave. Really no time for the visitors center but that wasn’t important to us. Bath was fun. We had time for lunch on our own, to tour the Roman Baths (advanced purchase with our tour) and to walk around town and do a little shopping. Unfortunately, the glitch in our day was that the air conditioning in the bus went out as we arrived in Bath which made for a very hot 3 hour drive back to London. Viator was notified about this issue but no action was taken.
