Paris Rail Day Trip from London

I was worried a bit after some of the reviews saying it was a exhausting day. But I must say it was perfection!! Richard was a delightful ambassador for Paris and our day was a perfect combination of history and exploration. My husband and I were traveling with my 75 year old parents and each of us loved it equally. And the tops was meeting our fellow trip mates who quickly became friends!

Fantastic guide Richard so knowledgeable he explained each site so well and exposed us to so much charm and wonder of the city. Had we gone on our own we would not have been exposed to so much. I would highly recommend this tour and this fantastic guide.

A very smooth process going on the train. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. It was a beautiful day and enough time to visit if you have visited before. Tour bus driver was a amazing at his job. Watch your purse and wallet while visiting.

The representative at San Pancras station was so patient, and had the tickets and itinerary organized for my group of 4. The hop on hop off was easy and convenient. Also allowed for AMAZING views of all of the monuments. The entire trip was seamless, and completely enjoyable. I highly recommend this.

A wonderful side trip to visit Paris. You have enough time to see the major sites with some free time to explore. The boat cruise on the Seine was very much enjoyable. Highly recommend it. The only negative was not the tours fault. The lines going through customs were very unpleasant. Lastly, Nigel our tour guide was amazing.

The day trip was informative. Our guide Nigel gave us plenty of time to explore and shop. The only negative thing was that the bus was a little warm.

To many people trying to scam you in Paris almost went to jail I rented a car that was not legal that I did not know.

Very easy to book and delivered as promised. The representative met us in the exact location provided an on time. The train is great. The only difficulty came when attempting to locate our hop on / hop off bus once we arrived in Paris. But, we were ultimately successful! Great day in Paris exploring on our own.

This trip was very informative and I'm glad I went, but I wish I had known there was so much walking. Paris that day was hot and sunny, and we walked all over the city. It was too much walking for me and at one point I had to drop out at an outdoor cafe and enjoy a cool drink. Fortunately, I had my 28 year old daughter with me and she called me to tell me where to meet them. We did manage to see a lot of sights, both on the bus, and off the bus. The guide, Nigel was a wealth of knowledge about Paris, and the driver get my kudos for his driving in that Paris traffic. At one point we were going around a circle, and the traffic was so disorganized it looked like someone had just picked up cars and dropped them in the road indiscriminately. All in all I would recommend the trip for those who are willing to walk some distances.

Perfect trip if you just want to see the main sights but not spend much time at any of them. We were able to get to the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, The Louvre, Notre-Dame, Champ de Mars, Moulin Rouge, walk along the Seine, as well as several other monuments. Had lunch at a street cafe by Notre-Dame. We were not able to to go up the Eiffel tower or go in the Louvre but you only have so much time. Would recommend that you ask/know exactly how to get to the first pickup spot. It is very close to the train station but can be a little difficult for those of us that like to fly by the seat of our pants. I would also recommend calling the local tour company the prior to ensure the meeting point at St. Pancras
