  • 2 hours of free time to explore the UNESCO-listed Cliffs of Moher on your own
  • Stop in the village of Doolin

Meet your day's transportation at the Dublin Visitor Centre. Climb aboard the comfortable, air-conditioned coach and set off through the Irish countryside to your destination: the Cliffs of Moher. The drive takes roughly 4 hours each direction.

On the way, make a stop in the village of Doolin, where you can witness firsthand Ireland's developing surf scene. Grab a bite to eat (own expense) at a pub or restaurant in the village. Doolin is a backpacker’s paradise and home to Ireland’s burgeoning surfing scene. This village is packed with things to do making it a great hub for exploring the surrounding area.

Upon arrival at your destination, cash in your included ticket to the Visitor Center to learn about the UNESCO World Heritage-listed park's flora and fauna. Walk the paths at the cliffs' edge to see the rock arches, sea caves, and sea stacks from the viewing platform, many of which were used as a backdrop for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

At the end of 2 hours of free time, climb back on the bus for the 4-hour trip back to Dublin.

Pictures do not do this site justice. Incredible sight to see and we were fortunate to have a beautiful day for the trip. The ferry from Doolin to view the cliffs from the sea was a super value for 15 euros per person. Very comfortable bus trip from Dublin, and we had an excellent driver and guide. All went on schedule for the long day effort. Thank you viator!!!!

This is a great thing to do if you have already taken in the sights of Dublin which really does not take more than two days. One thing to note is that the ride is a bit long -- it takes about 3 hr 45 minutes in total each way. The bus stops once each way for a bathroom break which is helpful. If you go, be sure to take the supplemental boat ride where you can see the Cliffs from the water -- it is a very rocky ride but you don't want to go home without adding that piece to your Irish adventure.

A must see in Ireland! Pictures don't do the cliffs justice. Good amount of time at the cliffs, didn't have much time left to check out shops. Bus ride got a little long but cant complain. Well worth the trip if you are staying in Dublin.

It is a self guided tour. A driver will take you to the places, but no guide during the ride and at the places. I chose this one because the departure time was later in the morning compared to the other tours available to the Cliffs of Moher. After the Cliffs of Moher, you have a choice of stopping at the Doolin Village or take the ferry ride to see the Cliffs at your own expense. I chose the ferry ride which is very nice. I just regret not packing snacks for this day trip, because I had no time to buy any food. I could've allocated time to eat, however I chose to enjoy the little time I had at the cliffs and I chose the ferry tour instead of the Doolin Village where they have places to eat. I advise to pack snacks for this trip.

The drive is long but the driver's unofficial tour commentary was great. You can tell he enjoyed giving the tour and even had a sample of dried pit bog to pass around. The Cliffs are an amazing site and you can walk as much or as little as you want and still see a lot of it, but as one would expect it's very windy. The village is very nice, we spent most of the time at the pub having lunch, which was also very good. The Beef and Guinness Irish stew is worth a try. Make sure to keep some change to tip the driver at the end as he deserves it.

You can't call this a Trip. It was just a transport by very small bus to Cliffs of Moher. There was no guide and the only thing the driver said was when to come back to the bus.

We booked the tour in advance and found the tourist office in the center of Dublin with no trouble at all. One of the staff members was waiting outside the shop anyways and asked us if we needed any help and showed us inside.
We checked in and were escorted to the bus stop where we were told to wait until our departure.
The bus was there on time and our tour guide/bus driver Shawn/Shaun sorry mate, I didn't even ask how to write your name greeted everyone very heartily and asked where we were from, holding some palaver so to say. :
Shawn/Shaun was a real chatterbox and I loved it - along our 2 hour drive he had so many interesting facts about the history of Ireland famine, invasion of the Vikings etc., sights old towers f.e. we passed on the highway or where the Irish Coffee was first invented. He always made sure that everyone understood what he said - given the fact that the people came from China, Chile, Germany, Spain, Mexico etc.
We got everywhere on time and he made sure that everyone got on the bus again. Once we've arrived in Doolin he told us where we could grab something to eat and we enjoyed it :
The Cliffs were definitely a sight to see and our guide made it extra special. Cheers! Would definitely book that tour again.

Timeline was not clearly communicated. Seatbelt was broken on the seat right by the door creating great discomfort during the ride. But it was well priced and the cliffs were amazing so it was well worth it.

its a lot of travel for a bit of a short trip, but the driver was great and the views are beautiful.

I do NOT recommend this tour. First, there was no guide on the bus, only a driver who never shared a plan for the day. Second, the tour is advertised as 10 hours, yet it was a full 11.5 hrs. 45 minutes of which spent at gas stations.. Go to the Cliffs - just with a different company!
