Travel independently to the seaplane jetty at Dubai Creek, the waterway that snakes through Dubai’s center. Listen to a safety briefing from the experienced pilot, and settle into your shared, 9-passenger light aircraft for your approximately 40-minute flight.
Then, enjoy the water take-off as your seaplane rises above Dubai’s towering skyline. Marvel at the skyscrapers and beaches below, and view sights such as the multi-lane Sheikh Zayed Road and breathtaking Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building.
Trace the coastline to Dubai Marina, and circle the sail-shaped Burj Al-Arab hotel and The Palm archipelago. Then, fly further out to sea to The World, a cluster of some 300 man-made islands located roughly 2.5 miles (4 km) from the coast.
As you fly, hear fun facts about the sandy islets and how they’re designed to resemble a world map. Gaze down from above and identify the main countries they represent, with help from your pilot. Then, after around 40 minutes in the air, come down to land in the waters off the archipelago. Step ashore on to an island, bid goodbye to your pilot, and enjoy a scenic boat ride to The Palm, just off the coast at Jumeirah in Dubai.
Take snaps of Jumeirah’s high-rises from the water, and after leaving your boat, enjoy an included, air-conditioned transfer to Dubai Mall, one of the world’s largest shopping malls.
Your experience concludes at the mall, leaving you free to enjoy its shops and attractions on your own.
