Make your own way to the Nautilus Aviation helicopter base just outside of the city to board your helicopter. After meeting your pilot and listening to the safety briefing, buckle up for a thrilling flight and take off over the Charles Darwin National Park.
Set out across the Beagle Gulf and soar over the Vernon Islands, looking out for the picturesque lighthouse on East Vernon Island. As you loop back to Darwin, soar over the Northern Beaches, passing over Nightcliff beach and Casuarina Beach, and admiring views of the vast sandy beaches, rugged sea cliffs, mangrove swamps, and monsoon forests.
Finally, enjoy views over Darwin’s city, beaches, and harbor as your pilot points out sights of interest and offers background information on the city’s history. After around 45 minutes in the air, land back at the helicopter base in the Charles Darwin National Park.
