Overview

Watch a sunset over Curaçao while sailing up the coastline on a catamaran during this 2-hour tour. Enjoy the scenery while your captain positions the boat for the ultimate views of the sunset, sip drinks from the open bar, and munch on tasty appetizers. Return to shore in plenty of time to take part in the island's famous nightlife.
  • 2-hour sunset sail around Curacao
  • Scenic views of Fuikbaai and Spanish Water Lagoon
  • Travel via comfortable catamaran
  • Appetizers and open bar
Head over to the The Pirates Nest Restaurant, Caracasbaai Round-About in Jan Thiel at 5 p.m. (from March to October) and 4:30 p.m. (from November to February). Board a catamaran staffed by an attentive crew and sail out in to the Spanish Water Lagoon, populated by luxury yachts and ringed with mansions on the shore.
Sail out into the ocean and spend about 20 minutes traveling around Fuikbaai, the best place to see the Curaçao sunset. Dig in to snacks such as chicken and shrimp skewers, accompanied by drinks from the open bar.
Return to land after about two hours.

The service by the crew members was remarkable. The trip was a birthday gift to my wife and the crew was sure to attend to this!

A great experience, even though it was a little rainy.

We booked this experience based on the reviews we read. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and we experienced rain and clouds for most of the outing so did not get to see the beautiful sunset as pictured. However, the staff was great and helped everyone make the best of it it was great to get out on the water and view the scenery. The drinks were as promised and plentiful. The hors d'oeuvres were passed around by one of the crew members, meatballs, mini-wraps and cheese. We went out on Valentines Day and witnessed a marriage proposal on the boat! Overall I would recommend taking this tour.

The cruise was GREAT! I only have one issue that stopped me from giving you 5 stars. We found nothing in the paper work we received that said Bounty Adventrues offered a round trip shuttle service from the port and downtown to the sailboat which is about 30 minutes away. This resulted in an 80 taxi ride round trip instead of a 10 per person shuttle trip. In our case we had 4 people - so we paid double. : We were not the only people that took a taxi too from our ship...

Had a great time on this romantic sunset cruise with my husband. It is a slower paced cruise with drink and small apps not dinner. Some women wore sundresses and some worn swimsuits and cover ups. Anything goes. We went out on a calm day so noone got splashed. Saw some cool wild life like flying fish. I recommend this tour as evening activity for couples and families.

Our sunset sail was lovely! The crew members were super nice, we had good music, food and a very beautiful sunset.
What we loved about this sail was that it wasn’t crowded it was around 10 people tops in a very nice catamaran. Totally recommend this sunset sail and the Bounty Adventures crew.

Getting to the location to meet the boat was an adventure itself. If you choose to do this, make sure you figure out how to schedule pick up from the port because a taxi ride is $40 and they don’t like to take you across the island. After we got there, FABULOUS. The crew, the view, the drinks-GREAT!

buyer beware NOT CRUISE SHIP FRIENDLY--- no pickup at the dock like other tours- after 3 tries could not find a taxi that would take us that far and even if they did it would be aprox 40 usd EACH WAY ! also not on cruise ship time

The main reason I am giving this event a 3 stars was the fact that the captain didn't put up the sails for the sunset sail. We have a fair amount of sailing experience and while it was windy, he could have put up a small amount of sails to honor the name of the event. So it was a sunset motor which if we had known that, we wouldn't have signed up for it. Drinks were lack luster, the food catered by the Pirate restaurant were decent. The captain and crew were friendly. We were on island for a week and the majority of the passengers were from a cruise ship. One large crowd of younger people drank way too much and pretty much diminished the romantic aspect of the sail. We did see the nicer homes along the water way and saw parts of the island we would not have seen so it wasn't a total loss. Just don't book this if you are expecting a peaceful, quiet, romantic sunset sail. Book it if you want to party on a boat that motors around.
