Receive a morning pickup from your hotel in Tajimi City, or meet your trip organizer at the JR Tajimi station. You’ll then head to the studio where you customized, once-in-a-lifetime photo shoot will take place.
With the help of a stylist you’ll receive a full Japanese costume makeover, including hair and makeup, inner clothing, “Tabi” socks, sandals, and a pre-selected traditional garment. Depending on the occasion and your preference, there’s a variety of costume choices. Recently married women might select the “Uchikake,” a formal bridal robe that’s the perfect way to commemorate your nuptials. There’s also the “Furisode,” a formal, long-sleeve kimono usually worn by unmarried women to events like coming-of-age ceremonies or as a betrothal present. For men, there’s the “Montsuki Hakama,” a formal outfit worn for weddings and funerals.
Once you’re prepped and ready to show off your beautiful outfit, join your partner as you enjoy a fun-filled photo session led by a professional photographer. When it’s time to leave, you’ll depart with a DVD with all your images, heading to the JR Tajimi Station or getting a drop-off back at your Tajimi hotel.
