The unique modernist works of architect Antoni Gaudí help define Barcelona's contemporary urban landscape. Your full-day city discovery tour begins at a central meeting point in Plaça Catalunya, where you'll connect with your knowledgeable local guide. From here, ascend to the terrace of Montjuïc park, a hilltop cultural complex boasting great views of the city center and a rich history as the site of the 1929 International Exposition and the 1992 Olympic Games.

Next, experience Gaudí's most iconic work, the spectacular, dreamlike La Sagrada Familia Cathedral. Admire the eye-popping Gothic exterior, and skip the long entrance lines to wander below the church’s many interior arches and learn about the rich symbolism incorporated into its design. Afterward, explore the surrounding neighborhood including Plaça Sant Jaume, home to City Hall.

For some of the best views in the city, ascend to Gaudí-designed Park Güell, a fantastical public terrace featuring colorful mosaics, undulating structures and panoramic views over Barcelona and the sea. Learn about the history of the park and its many secrets as you visit the most interesting corners with your guide.

Continue on to the Eixample neighborhood for an architectural walking tour of the many modernist buildings in this extension of Barcelona's old town, including landmark structures like Casa Batlló, Casa Lleó i Morera and Casa Ametller. Enjoy a skip-the-line visit to one of the most famous apartments in Spain, Gaudí’s Casa Milà, also known as La Pedrera. Head up to the rooftop terrace and see one of the original apartment residences preserved much as it was during the building’s construction in the early 20th century.

Joseph was incredible! He's super knowledgeable and amazingly passionate about the history and culture of Barcelona.
Worth every penny!

The guide was knowledgeable and interested in his clients. This tour was really two tours. More time in all locations would have been better particularly Park Guell, although would make the day longer. The introduction to cava and how it is made was great.

We had an incredible day in Barcelona with our guide, Joseph. He was very knowledgeable and the passion for his city and its culture was palpable - he will bring the energy! Sagrada Familia was amazing as well as Park Guell and LaPedrera. We also were shown many other sites including the Gothic and Jewish Quarters, Cathedral of Barcelona, Santa Maria del Mar, the Olympic Village, and others. Joseph shared the incredible history of Barcelona intertwining it with Gaudi's life and his impact on the city's architecture and style, with an emphasis on Gaudi's incredible attention to detail.
A great day that left us wanting more! Highly recommended.

Angelique was a very competent, sweet enthusiatic tourguide who gave us a lot of tips,we would definetely recommend her:

It was great and we could tell Angelic really loved her job and was very informed about everything she was talking about.

, Jul 2017

Angelique was a warmand knowledgable guide, offering many personal touches. The tour started with a walk through the Gothic quarter, and taxis were on strike so we took the metro to Casa Milo/La Padrera then a quick lunch at a small café recommended by Angelique. Shuttle to Park Guell, which was absolutely amazing must-see experience, not nearly enough time allotted to enjoy this park. If you have the time, plan the park for a full day. Then shuttle to Sagrada Familia, after an exterior guided tour we spent several hours with audio guide inside and the museum. Ending the tour at this stop allowed us enough time to stay as long as we wanted, it was breath-taking. Angelique took the time to write out detailed directions for the metro and tapas and bars for our evening. She was so engaging, loved her.

WOW!! This tour was one of the best we have been on. When I told my husband we had an 8 hour tour booked he almost killed me. Angelique was INCREDIBLE!!! She is SUPER knowledgeable and helpful. It was a total of 6 of us. One family of 4 and my husband and I. It was very interactive. We both really enjoyed the day and learned A LOT!! We HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this tour! If you can request Angelique - DO IT!!!

Angelique was a terrific tour guide. She possesses an abundant knowledge about Barcelona, its attractions and history. We very much enjoyed the private tour.

Fabulous day trip with Angelique as our guide to three of the most highly visited attractions in Barcelona. Angelique was extremely entertaining and clearly knew all there was to know about the stops on the tour as well as Barcelona Catalan history more widely. We could not find a question to stump her! It's a shame we could only give 5 stars to this tour, as the stop probably deserve these five, and Angelique, 5 of her own.

Be prepared to walk a reasonable distance in the morning through the gothic quarter, visiting several other sights apart from the main 3. For the visits inside Sagrada Familia and La Pedrera, Angelique left us alone, but there was an audio guide included in cost to help us around.

A great tour, thoroughly recommended.
