  • Grand Canyon day trip from Flagstaff
  • Visit the Wupatki National Monument
  • Multiple stops at Grand Canyon National Park
  • Lunch included at the historic Cameron Trading Post
  • Hotel pickup and drop-off included
Following hotel pickup in Flagstaff, you’ll follow State Route 89A, a scenic highway that winds past lava flows at the base of Sunset Crater, Arizona’s youngest volcano. Continue by coach to Wupatki National Monument, which features prehistoric dwellings once belonging to ancient pueblo peoples of the southwest.
Colorful cliffs of the Painted Desert come into view as you enter the vast Navajo Nation. Your guide makes a stop at the Cameron Trading Post, a historical site dating to 1916. Have lunch in the dining room overlooking the Little Colorado River Gorge and browse for award-winning arts and crafts.
Upon entering Grand Canyon National Park, you’ll experience the magnificence of the immense gorge, counted among the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. During photo stops at overlooks on the East Rim and South Rim, your guide shares knowledge of the park’s geology, natural history, flora, and fauna, and points out any wildlife.
During free time at Grand Canyon Village — site of historical lodges, museums, and Kolb Studio — get a glimpse of the Bright Angel Trail and admire more panoramic views of the Grand Canyon before making the journey back to your hotel.

On this tour, our tour guide Laura was amazing. She was very knowledgeable, had so many local history stories to share with us, and made our small group (7+Laura), feel just like family.
We saw the Sunset Crater, Wupatki Pueblo, with ample time to explore, and made several stops at Grand Canyon.

The high point of the tour was our guide, Tim, very knowledgeable, dedicated and professional, it makes a big difference when a person enjoys his works and shares his joy, THANKS TIM, you made the difference.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Grand Canyon. We never felt rushed to move on. The guide was knowledgeable about everything we saw. We had some rain showers, but the guide took us down the road to another spot where it wasn't raining so that we could view the magnificient canyon. If you are going to the Grand Canyon, I strongly recommend taking a tour rather than trying to experience it on your own.
